Poor Rep. Mike Castle never saw it coming and had nothing to say. The Delaware moderate Republican congressman fixed a Bambi-in-the-headlights gaze on his face when the flag-waving woman in red whipped an otherwise unremarkable town hall meeting into a display of mass insanity.

Americans need real healthcare reform, not just insurance reform, and nobody should mistake the two. Real healthcare reform should offer coverage to the employed, the unemployed, the sick, the healthy, the young, the old. Everyone.

How would CNN promote a show called “White in America?” Would they feature the thousands of meth addicts who have abandoned their children? The California rural and suburban white women who do more dope than Latino and black youth? And if not, why not? Can’t they get State Farm, Ford and McDonald’s to sponsor such a program?
